06. Foods that don't go well with wine you should know
Fish roe is a typical example of something that doesn't go well with wine.
Pairing it with wine brings out the fishy flavor of the fish roe.
For example, salmon roe and herring roe.
By dipping salmon roe in soy sauce, it can still be paired with rosé wine or orange wine, but it is particularly difficult to pair with herring roe.
Please try something scary to see if it really suits you. You may be able to match it depending on the seasoning.
